This website is run by Ghosn Flowers & Gift Wrapping (registered trade name: غصن للورود وتغليف الهدايا, commercial registration no. 01081500001944; "Ghosn", "we"), a shop at Near Semaforo, Qusur Al-Diyafa, Hay Demashq, Tripoli. Ghosn is responsible for your personal data. This page explains what we collect when you order or browse, why, who sees it, where it is processed, and how to exercise your rights.

What we collect

  • Order details: name, mobile number, pickup or delivery, delivery address (delivery only), order date and time, your notes, gift-card message, and a recipient's name and phone if you add them.
  • Order record: its status, changes and who made them and when, the agreed delivery fee, and the cancellation reason if cancelled.
  • Technical data: cookies needed to keep the form working and safe, and your network address (IP) to block abuse.
  • Visit statistics: Google Analytics (see "Analytics").

If you enter someone else's details (a gift recipient), please make sure they know.

Why we collect it

  • To record your order, call you to confirm it, prepare it and deliver or hand it over.
  • To contact you if something changes (flower availability, timing, delivery fee).
  • To keep sales and accounting records.
  • To protect the form from abuse.
  • To understand and improve how the site is used (statistics that never include your name or phone).

The basis is the order you choose to send and your agreement to it, and our need for this data to fulfil it. We use customer details only to process Ghosn's orders. We never sell them and send no marketing messages or newsletters.

Who sees it

  • Ghosn staff: only what they need to handle the order.
  • Revaluar: the company that built, hosts and technically runs the site for Ghosn. It does not use your data for its own purposes. revaluar.ly
  • Hostinger: the hosting provider for the site, database and order-notification email.
  • Cloudflare: domain and site protection.
  • Google Analytics: visit statistics only.
  • Authorities: only when the law requires it.

Where it is processed

The site and its database run on Hostinger servers in the United States, visits pass through Cloudflare's global network, and Google processes visit statistics outside Libya. Your data is therefore processed outside Libya. We use providers bound by data-protection agreements, data between you and the site travels encrypted (HTTPS), only authorised staff can reach the admin, and we send Google no name, phone number, address or order detail.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. We also count, without any details, orders sent and taps on the WhatsApp, call and language buttons. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>. It collects pages viewed, referrer, approximate location (city and country), device and browser type. We send it no name, phone, address or order detail. It sets a cookie with a random identifier. We use no advertising features, no Google Signals and no cross-site tracking. Google keeps the data for 14 months and does not log IP addresses in GA4. Analytics is on by default. Use the button below to opt out on this browser; the choice is stored in a cookie (analytics_optout) for one year.

Analytics status: unknown (JavaScript is off, so no analytics run).

How long we keep it

We keep order and customer details (including name, phone, address, notes, gift message and recipient details) for as long as the shop operates, because they are our sales records. This includes unconfirmed and cancelled orders. You can ask us at any time to correct or delete your details (see "Your rights").

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data via WhatsApp or phone on 092 244 2060 or at buy@ghoosn.ly. We reply within 7 working days. We may keep what law or accounting requires. You may also object to any use of your data beyond your order.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, admin accounts are limited to authorised staff and protected by passwords and a second verification step, and backups are kept. No protection is absolute, but we work to reduce risk.
